They can't sell oil for a lot more because the nuclear reactors would cost so much. Most of the cost of electicity is in the hardware. The fuel cost is significant but it's a secondary factor. I doubt that the Saudis are concerned about global warming.

There are new generations of nuclear reactors that are smaller, safer and cheaper.  They wait financial support to commercialize.

As for your doubts about Saudi concerns about global warming, it doesn't take much Googling to erase your doubts.  Here's one of many, many links: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/12/05/us-climate-talks-saudi-idUSBRE8B41B820121205.  You don't need to be an American conservative to deny anthroprogenic global warming and climate change are occuring, but it does seem to help.
