09:35 AM EDT, 07/02/2012 (MidnightTrader) -- ATP Oil & Gas Corporation (ATPG) today announced its success at the Shimshon well in the Levant Basin of offshore Israel. The company said the Shimshon well encountered more than 62 feet (19 meters) of natural gas pay in the Bet Guvrin sands.
ATPG is up 11.3% to $3.74 on a 52-week range of $2.78 - $16.23.
