Empowering women in election makes ESSO friends

The discussion of PNG women in politics reminds me of a scene in the recent award winning documentary on surfing in PNG, "Splinters". In the scene a guy was unmercifully kicking and beating his wife (sister?) for some small transgression. Pretty ugly segment in what overall was quite a remarkable movie.
