Well, I hope the UK won't escape the consequences of a Euro failure. It's about time they revise their foreign policy, paying lip service to the US while bashing the European continent. One might frequently feel ashamed to be a European national, but the UK position doesn't help a bit.
Let's hope the US situation doesn't deteriorate further. I remember times, early 1980's and again early 1990's, when the US would take much more of a leadership position, and multinational banks and corporations would join in Transatlantic forums. I don't see or hear much of this anymore. I worry a lot about the lack of historical conscience.
Paradigm shifts are okay, but I sure hope IOC will deliver its first victory before some sort of systemic catastrophe...
Any British citizens aboard?
Any ways, early warning messages are very important and useful.
But the "read and weep" part we can make up for ourselves....
