PetrEngr: PRL 237 Work Program
#1

If I am reading the above article correctly it appears that we will be getting 250 km of seismic in and around Triceratops and another 250 km of seismic in the rest of PPL 237 over the next 2 ½ years (2012-2014). A total of 500 km of seismic. I hope I am reading this correctly.
I would not have thought we needed that much more seismic at Triceratops. I expect some of the seismic work will be close up to the Elk/Antelope infrastructure. Phil mentioned at the AGM that they would concentrate on those prospects close to the planned infrastructure so that the new discoveries can be put on production with a minimum of pipeline etc. He specifically mentioned Mule Deer.  I would also expect to see some seismic lines across the Raptor/Duckbill prospect. Hopefully we will also see some seismic lines on all of the other prospects in PPL 237 i.e. T-Rex, Seismosaurus, Brontosaurus, Allosaurus and Pteranodon.
In addition to the seismic lines the work program will consist of six more exploration and appraisal wells on the Triceratops structure and the drilling, testing and completion of up to four exploration wells in other parts of PPL 237.
The additional resource payment will come from Pacific Rubiales’ share of production so it will be a while before we see that money.
