Not excited about investing in an Austraiian company in their market dealing with a foreign exchange rate. Also am not sure how the IRS is going to treat the CVR payment. I, personally, would be much happier dealing with Exxon buying it. I trust Botten about as far as I trust Hession. Birds of a feather working to screw IOC investors.
At least if Exxon were to buy us and set up a future payment based on the resource estimate, it would be in their interest for it to be as large as possible since Total has to pay them. Oil Search would be tickled to tell us "Oh Well, we have decided it is only 7 tcfe, So sorry, here is your $6/share, Thank you very much. Now please believe that we will treat your NEW investment with with care in the future."
