That's where the Toyota Mirai comes in. It's an ambitious project for Toyota because the fueling infrastructure for this car is minimal. There are only 29 public hydrogen-filling stations in the US, according to the US Department of Energy. Twenty-six of those stations are in California, and there's one each in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and South Carolina. If you include public and private hydrogen stations, then the total climbs to 54 — nationwide. Compare that to the nearly 14,000 electric-charging stations and the 168,000 retail gas stations in the US, and you can see the obvious drawback of hydrogen-powered cars. Despite this, the Mirai is an interesting project, if for no other reason than the fact that it's different.

BBC Music Magazine surveyed 151 conductors working across the world to come up with a top 20 great symphonies. The Eroica, Beethoven’s Third Symphony, came in at No 1, followed by his Ninth, the “Choral”, in second place. Mozart’s last symphony, No 41, the “Jupiter”, was in third place while Mahler occupied the next two places with his Ninth and Second symphonies respectively.

Want to know more about the air you’re breathing? Awair wants to help. When this smart home product first launched earlier this year, it simply collected information on the quality of the air around you. But now, Awair is growing up and learning how to play with the other products on the playground. Bitfinder, the company behind the air-monitoring device, has recently partnered with Nest, the Amazon Echo, and IFTTT to help users of those services and products interact with Awair’s data — temperature, humidity ,CO2, VOCs, and dust — and actually make actionable changes, when necessary, based on that information.
