I think that last statement about the class action lawsuits is in reference to this forum honestly, lol.
I do have a question tho if we are to proceed with this lawsuit: does anyone know if we can take the tax loss on it yet? I thought the American tax law is if you deduct the loss, you waive any right to try to recover the loss. Or am I incorrect on that?
I would also support any class action lawsuit, but I am an American. If nothing else, we will at least obtain a tax deduction for our losses that will allow us to recover a portion of what we lost. I don’t wanna take the loss if we are filing a class action though or I would forego any recovery. If we can get a clear answer by the end of this year, that would help. Otherwise I may try deducting the loss on my 2019 tax return to recoup a portion of my loss.
