Man, those poor old images have been reused countless times. They look so ominous they're perfect for demonstrating the potential damage that will be unleashed.
Too bad no one has any intent to use them, not even the company that had them built and still intends on being the first deep sea mining operation in the world.
It looks like the Avaaz petition is about Norway mining, but why should environmental groups care about the details or misleading the public by displaying equipment that is out dated and has nothing to do with what the petition is about.
