I totally agree with this observation. While we on SHU follow IOC closely, the largest shareholders do not have the in-depth knowledge that we possess of the entire situation, and a clearly-stated letter of the continuing problems [including the observations and 'red flags' of the Canadian Appellate Court] and the real lack of shareholder value might bring enough attention to this that some large shareholders would investigate more themselves.

Sounds like a plan.  I nominate PET and 2126 to be the chief authors!.  Where/when do I sign?  I know a doctor that owns 16,000 shares and is clueless as to what is going on.  I'd like to copy him with the letter.

i agree with this plan. It would be great if PET and 2126 are willing to draft such a letter. i wonder if it is possible to get the adresses of the retail shareholders. Maybe the organisation who handled the voting of the proposals from Phil M early 2016. ? It might be possible that Phil M. already has approached the big shareholders together with his report from 'concerned shareholders' and are already aware of a lot of criticism. Nevertheless i am in favour of taking our own actions because Phil M. also took his own actions indepently from us.

The A7-location was questionnable according to some of our boardmembers. The Antelop Deep was not targeted eventually. Even OSH believed in this plan according to its presentations. What remains is that we can vote down the sale to XOM. Ever since the oilprice recovered, the project NPV improved. I hope the large shareholders are sensible for this argument.
