Why didn't Hession take the Exxon offer.

Again thanks for your insight on this. I am no longer a stock holder but feel the same as everyone here that shareholders were deceived by the company. I mostly blame myself for getting emotionally involved in the stock and not being smart enough to exit when I could have taken a profit. Lesson Learned. I still watch this board and IOC just to keep up with the situation, and having been involved with this stock so long I just want to see what the final outcome is. GLTA.

Thanks Oilybug for your comments. I also blame myself, but just like I did with Ultra Petroleum several years ago, I could see (just as Exxon has) the awesome potential of the Eastern Basin ( which IOC's leases are a big part of ).  I just didn't think about an incompetent ceo and bods getting into the game [ ....by the way ,I sold my Ultra Petroleum shares near the top, but I wasn't that lucky  with my IOC shares . ] .  I made a nice bundle on that stock, but I am now giving a chunk of that "bundle" back . I suppose the old saying is true...."easy come,easy go" (only I hate the 'easy go' part .)  GLTY

Sageo, I hope that at least you and everyone left holding shares by some miracle ends up with a nice CRP. I know it was you desire to leave a benefactor from this stock to your grandkids. It would also be my wish that Hession and the BOD are somehow also held accountable for the injustice done to the shareholders of this stock. It probably will not happen.
