bert, I think you are dead wrong about "nobody" knowing where they are going, and about "no SM" signing off (on a deal?) "until everything is settled".  That contradicts what the Company has been indicating and sounds like something a short basher would throw out as a scare tactic.  Maybe you should be using a different "channel" for that kind of imo uninformed speculation.

Getit, only the Lord knows. And the Lord, although often caring, may not give a shitzel about what the "Company" likes to 'indicate'. You should land your two feet on the ground before you accuse someone of scare tactics in this community. And your recommendation for this person to look for a different channel is not only naive but also out of place. Shame on you!

I did not accuse him of that;  I characterized what it sounded like to me.  You obviously don't understand what I mean by a different channel, and there are provisions in our rules about whining and sticking to the facts. Check them out, and see further comment in the other thread, a thread he started just for this.

That's Bertl's opinion, take it or leave it. Whining is what people do if they loose money when they choose to ignore the facts. Bertl doesn't strike me as that kind of person. You, however, are whining about a board fellow who holds another opinion, and is entitled to do so. Perhaps this board should revise its rules and provisions.

The things contained in it are what has been and is being acted upon. That's why things are moving as swiftly as they are. Very orderly and with wide support. This Accord draws heavily upon the 2030 National Plan and 2050 Vision; makes sense. Work the plan. Also there are long but very valuable interviews with people inside and outside of PNG which discuss what is going on in PNG, and what needs to be done. These can be found here: http://www.emtv.com.pg/business/businesspng Pretty impressive lineup of people and you can watch and listen to exactly what they have to say; not some edited and/or biased written story in The National, PC or PNGIndustryNews. I would guess few people will take the time, but it's more than worth it. Then as things play out it's much easier to understand what's real and what's portrayed as chaos, turmoil, etc.

I guess you have meet te guests.
