Effect of new chemical plant Konebada

Ahh, all this certainly clarifies things some. Sounds like a "DME project" is a possibility eventually, but "iffy".

Not at all Getit. Duma just mentioned both of the plants as to be built this past January. The project is shown as a project under study and design by the companies involved. Just that the fertilizer is first priority due to the gov push to develop ag in PNG as quickly as possible. Art's point is very valid and not so much "iffy" as "whenny".

Time will tell ... to my opinion, based on doing feasibility studies on both these technologies and based on working closely with the companies involved ...
DME will never be built in PNG
Ammonia/ Urea is a long shot at best

Sounds like a good probability on the methanol/ammonia/urea, but on the DME I am more inclined to listen to Stavros than to Duma.  We'll see.  Hopefully, we'll soon have something a lot better to analyze and discuss.
