While I agree that it is best to terminate the weekly options, I believe the monthly options serve a good purpose.

I think the discussion on volume and manipulation is missing one big point.  Liquidity.  There is very little stock outside the hands of the large holders.  This makes it easy to "play" the stock.  It also keeps people away.

The spread between bid and ask is too great thanks to the MM.

The shorts are mostly gone, IMHO.  What is left is basically hedging and MM positions.

Dec 6 ended all that other stuff.

We are now a news driven stock on our way to be an earnings and exploration potential driven stock.  Divvies in 8 years.  Mark your calendars.  Smile
