I am with Tree on this . PRL15 first one out the door in all or part . Quote mgt a PRL factory . There's even more money for everyone including Hession with a PRL factory . Wait get those shares let them vest and grow the company . Will that happen?????? Henry Aldorf weighted in on Interoil's future he stated we would be a mid sized oil and gas company . What he didn't say was when . If allowed to survive stay independent this PRL factory will layer deal on deal with multiple PRL's . That's the path to riches . Oil Search has survived and prospered on PNG with a partnership with Exxon . I can bet many of these same comments with Oil Search having 9 T's were circulating amongst their shareholders . Per mcf Oil search grew their value from 50 cents to over $5 today .Just built a 6.8 ton LNG plant the same as Taureka mentioned for Interoil .

Hession's ego much like Phil's and he wants to grow IOC and be on the Forbes cover. Hession has the drive, team and compensation incentive to grow IOC as an independent with the luxory of a 37 mill insurance policy if/when the BoD pulls trigger on a takeover. Surely Botten has similar insurance. What does O'Neill prefer?

A merger of Oil Search and Interoil would get both Super Majors working to develop PNG assets .
Can't be a bad thing . Hession as CEO ?Would depend on terms the ratio and government approval . It's a possibility . Odds unknown.

Let’s get the certification done first so we can get paid from our first sale of 40% before you start selling off the rest of PRL15 or even the whole company.

Just reading whats on the wires and in the newspapers. After receipt of cash odds of a takeover drop. Although I don't want to sell anything the analysts want to get paid . The only questions are how many deal books with their numbers and what's the appetite for an acquirer.
Looking back nothing happened . A bid would help the current price per share accepted or not .

And as far as Hession's RSUs are concerned they are based upon $ and not shares, somewhat mitigating their value in restraining any takeover fever he might have as share prices rise. I just hope your "lesson" of OSH's 10 fold rise in value, even given their relatively modest resource base, is learned and taken to heart.

Would love to see IOC sell down to about 10-15% after Certification as that would provide ample cash flow to help fund future operations. Need a source of cash flow other than selling off the whole cow every time. PRL= Prove it, Roll it, Leverage it

I love to see them put Wahoo on the front burner!

Thy, I am with you on Wahoo, and resumption is scheduled for this quarter, which we are almost half way through. Just that resumption of drilling is probably some of the best news we could get this quarter. |
