Hession's Comp Package has changed

If Hession will build the company into a great success without stock shares they why did the Board offer him the package they did?? If he isn't motivated by the shares then why offer them ??
The shares in fact motivate people to complete to a higher level and these shares have timing awards which gives one a sense of urgency .
Nobody works for free and Hession is quite good at what he does and has choices where to work . This generous package will reward him for making the company a great success but these shares are needed for several reasons .

I didn't mean to say he would build the company to a great success equally with or without stock shares. And I imagine he even had some influence on what the package would be. The package might reflect what he is trying to do to achieve success. The point I was trying to make was that as he does his job running the company he isn't "playing to the package".

This might explain why he feels more comfortable with his positive resource statements.

Hession initiated this change with his compensation, at least that is what he said to me.
