"Monitoring of pressure responses in Antelope 1 demonstrated pressure communication between the Antelope 5 and Antelope 1 wells." substantiated the basis for claims of connectivity between the wells that I don't recall hearing from IOC. Drilling commencement of August for A4S sure sounds a lot better than "second half" or even 3Q. The statement "Progressing this project [Papua LNG] to the earliest practicable FID remains one of Oil Search’s highest priorities.” is comforting as is the OSH farm in to Kina's PPL 339: "In May, Oil Search exercised its option with Kina Petroleum to farm in to PPL 339. Under the farm-in, Oil Search will acquire a 70% participating interest in the licence in return for carrying Kina through the drilling of an exploration well. The farm-in follows the acquisition of high resolution airborne gravity and magnetics and seismic data, which have indicated a range of interesting structures within the licence, which is well located, given its proximity to the proposed Papua LNG Project facilities. Total has a back-in right into the farm-in, which is currently being negotiated." Others evidently have interest in a couple of pearls between PRL 15 and Wahoo.Well well ... and well located... plan to drill two wells....
... chasing large reefal plays on trend....
... Total has back in right
Eastern Papua Basin is becoming a popular loocaton.
Also of note: ... at least one LARGER LNG train.... Sounds like Peter (OSH) has up sided their base estimate. Surprise to the up side from our JV Partner. Thanks Peter. :-)

Interesting plans and comments about PPL 339 and the potential back-in of Total. PPL 339 is widespread with areas southeast, far east, and far north of PRL 15, areas surrounding the PPL 474, 476, and 477 areas IOC kept after having to give up half its lease areas after the first six years. I am sure IOC kept what appeared to be the best prospects, but there might be something of significance in those surrounding areas; and OSH does not have the quality or quantity of prospects to go after that IOC does. Anyone know anything about where those two wells OSH plans in PPL 339 are? If Total does become a partner there, it would seem to create some potential complexities if there are significant discoveries.
