The Capital World Investors shows a zero position in IOC. Some sources list both Capital Research Group and Capital World. If they are two separate filings than the 2.17m million shares were sold. I'm not sure why the splitting and duel filings.

Morgan Stanley and Bank of Montreal stepped up big in third quarter. Wells Fargo started coming back in, and J P Morgan started adding significantly to get even bigger.

Is Capital World Investors part of Capital Research/American Funds?

Yes, Capital World Investors, Capital Research and American Funds are all part of the same company:  The Capital Group.  Looks like Palm's source is correct.
