Let's straighten out a couple of things that are clear to some:

1)  This original post was not humorous.

2)  Nor was it sarcastic.

3)  The idea that lies may likely be planted in PNG related press in neither new or unprecedented and will planted lies will continue.

4)  This post did not  'aid the enemy'.   It is a vaccination and diffuses the attempt and preps folks for the possibility of such slime.

5)  There is no evidence that these lies are in play yet and there is no more info I could possibly share.

6)   Many had the same reaction -fear-  when we discussed this spring on SHU, the 2009 PA expiration and license expirations, and why they were not legit worries.

7)   More need to pay attention, read and comprehend.  How many disclaimers did I make so the point would not be mistaken as 'real' and it still was?

8)  What is odd is those most worried about blantant manipulation by shorts don't think shorts can come up planting more lies to the press by themselves.

9)  What is different now is Hession and he has shown a willingness to fight back immediately to blatant misinformation in the marketplace.

10)  Does it make sense to fret about shorts without neutering likely scenarios they will employ?

While I did not enjoy or find humor in this thread, I believe Tree is one of the best sources of information and perspective on this site.  We all have our style and I have at times gone farther than some would like, maybe today is Tree's turn.  Point has been understood.  The best part about this site is the ability to discuss, learn and move on.  I have done this, thanks guys (and gals)

The shorts floated a rumor yesterday and it was spreading though the long ranks and we decided to deal with the shorts nonsense by making it public and eliminating another short story. If you heard this story you understand Tree's post. Reality just wait a bit more.
