Yep it's changing and Fracking is in the driver's seat. Fracking was developed from the grass roots despite political push back. Fracking makes wind mills and solar farms into modern tulip bulbs. The windmill dotted skyline of Iowa is ugly! This fickle behavior will only last until the prosperity from US energy independence becomes evident. One little combined cycle NG turbine replaces a 100s and 100s of wind mills with cheap pollution free power 24/7 for a third of the windmill cost. Solar costs a lot more and is even less reliable.

YOu make the assumption greenhouse gas emissions have no economic cost.  Check with those people in Texas where they have had two 500 year frequency storms in the past year alone. Or those subject to drought, abnormally high temperatures and wildfires.  Extreme weather events has been a predicted characteristic of global climate change.

Fracking was not developed at the grass roots.  It was a public/private partnership. Expand your sources of information and accept the idea that only if you allow new information to engage, challenge and at times change your opinions those opinions are going to be closer to the truth. I'm not saying you are wrong, only that there is always more information with wihich to judge and improve upon you opinions.

And the people in Texas might say it's el nino or la nina or God's will.   Greenhouse gas emissions only plays well in certain circles.

Puts, keep it real. O&G still gets billions in subsidies. Normal for countries to subsidize necessary national interest industry. And combined cycle NG is NOT pollution free.

The question is what are our assets worth ?? What is the proper size of our assets .?! If one believes GLJ has it right then the deal is beyond bad . A Beach law suit has merit where the supoena power of the courts can be used to get to documents that back up a larger deal.
A credible law firm that sees value for themselves would also see value for us because the law firm would collect only a percentage of the increased value .
Their credibility would allow cash to be raised , to ignore the tools that Botten used to build Oil Search with stock offerings seems very strange . Many oil firms have raised equity recently . The buyers of the new shares believe oil prices have bottomed and they with higher oil prices will make a handsome return on their money . Yes it might be new investors with new money . Or it's not over yet . Holding on to the Total deal and a 30 percent ownership in an LNG plant has great merit to Interoil shareholders . The value in Interoil can be properly reached with piece by piece sales .

JFT, could you lay out a credible timeline of what and when this scenario would play out? Surely by now someone has come up with this formulated plan. What needs to be included is credible time for all of the subpoena and discovery work and for any legal process to occur, as well as a credible timeline for the piece by piece sale and what % of the assets is expected to be recovered.

Would love for this to play out uber-positive, but I need to see it.
