Fact is there was chatter about this very thing. Some obviously heard it and saw an email or two and others did not. Connections. Clarification was requested so digging was done. Ends up it likely was nothing but doesn't mean we won't still hear this very thing. We've seen this type of tactic many times in the past from other bidders and shorts and there's likelihood it hasn't ended yet.

If you heard this story you understand Tree's post. Reality just wait a bit more. "WE" are all on the same team. If there are subsets that make decisions on what to put out and how to put it out does that not defeat a bit of what this board is about. Seems to me it also belittles the rest of "US" whom this type of action suggests can not decide and digest information ourselves. If you have something of substance, good or bad, post it and let the board discuss it as a whole. That is what I thought this board was all about.

Well, the funny thing with communication is that ultimately, it's not the sender that infuses it with meaning but the receiver, so some confusion isn't surprising, but it isn't such a big deal either..

I think it is always good to check out and clarify information, be it positive or negative information, and whether or not it comes from a Short or an honest Long. Thanks to those who have the connections to investigate these matters, and thank you for posting your findings.
