Getit- Yes, I saw it but I elected not to answer because your questions require a level of expertise far above mine plus a lot more information than anyone has. I will try to answer for you as best I can but don’t bet the farm on it.

Comment: Yes, I believe they should be able to see the fault on their seismic data. These faults are reverse thrust faults and they may have a very shallow angle. Since the pay zone may be more than 2,200 feet thick and the angle of the fault may be very shallow the fault could be very near the bottom of the well and still be as much as a couple of kilometers west of the well at the top of the zone.

Comment: Yes, I think the resource engineers will depend very heavily on their interpretation of the seismic data.

Comment: The connectivity test will not reveal any compartmentalization other than the fact that the wells may be in different compartments if they do not show to be connected.

Comment: The flow tests will not reveal any compartmentalization west of A5. That part of the reservoir west of A5 will consist partly of a wedge shaped block with zero thickness at the western edge. In most fields the engineers can calculate the distance from the well to the fault based on pressure build up tests. But most fields have much thinner zones and much steeper faults. So the distance to the fault is usually about the same at the top and bottom of the zone. In this case the zone is very thick and I think the fault has a very shallow angle, so the distance to the fault kind of loses its meaning. At the bottom of the well it could be 500 meters from the well and at the top of the zone it could be 2,500 meters. If they leave all of the zone open in the an open hole during the flow test I believe it will be very difficult for them to interpret the distance to the fault from pressure build up tests because the distance is variable at different parts of the well bore. Also I think there will be many zones of different permeability flowing into the well bore which will confuse the build up data. Some zones will build up quickly and others will build up more slowly.
So, again, I think the resource engineers will have to depend on the seismic data to determine the gas volume west of A5.

Comment: If the final certification is based on the pressure lost due to a given amount of production, as I believe it will be, then that number will include all of the reservoir that is being produced. If there are compartments that are not being produced the volume of those compartments will not be included.
That is all very complicated and we are talking about compartments when we do not know there are any compartments. Probably giving some people a false negative opinion of what we have here. My personal opinion is that there are no compartments and the wells are all connected in one large compartment. I do not know if the connectivity tests will confirm this or not. We will have to wait and see. Even if the connectivity test do not show connectivity there may be reasons why the tests are inconclusive due to distance, time and volume of gas produced.
If anyone disagrees with any of this that is fine with me. Your ideas of what is going on is probably better than mine.
