Tree, you can not deny it as taken WAY TO LONG to seal a deal on ANY aspect of the assets. The standard reply by many " this is a long term investment" is not appropriate. This has been a long time already. I hope it happens SOON!!!!

That scenario isnt realistic. It's as if you are saying that there has been good news and its gone down, so that might happen again. I don't recall the good news that precipitated this collapse of PPS.
Shareholders want a finalization of the SD after 3 years. I don't think thats an unreasonable request at this point. I don't see this move as shorts, corruption or any other grassy knoll scenario. Fear of further delays and a possible shift of plans again makes shareholders nervous, and they sell.
I would think a SD at good terms and a Govt nod for the project would cause a nice rally. After all the story of multiple majors bidding seemed to work. I get your point that IOC is totally manipulated at times, but that doesn't excuse that we are late in 2012 with nothing substantive to show. Hard to deny that with a straight face.

JFT, I would welcome an announcement today or tomorrow and hope that is the case. However, your post sounds like one of the umber pumpers on Yahoo and not a balanced engaged poster on SHU. No disrespect intended, just the way it seems to me. Again, I hope you are correct, but the market seems to say differently. Time is running thin and the goodwill is running low. As for CEO of the year, I feel Phil was far from that for the past 2 years so even if this gets sealed tonight he I far from CEO of he year in my eyes.

I am suggesting everyone have a celebration cocktail and sleep well. Tomorrow is exciting.
What the stock does I can't say for sure.
