Phil walked into a bar….
#1
Anyone heard that old joke about a cowboy walking into a bar where he noticed a large fish bowl full of cash?
After a third shot of Jack, he asked the bartender:
'What's up with the cash in the fish-bowl?"

Bartender's reply:
'There's a horse behind that curtain in the corner and if you can make him laugh you get the cash in the bowl. He ain't never laughed. Costs you $10 bucks to try.'

'That so' and the cowboy dropped his $10 in, went behind the curtain and whispered in the horse's ear'
Horse fell to his knees laughing.
Cowboy took the cash one last shot and rode off, never speaking a word to the dumbfounded bar crowd.

A few years later, same cowboy returns to the bar, the fishbowl is full of cash again. Asks the bartender if it's the same deal for the cash.
'Nope, you gotta make that horse cry to get the cash. Ain't never been done'

Cowboy drops in a $10, goes behind the curtain and within a minute that horse is on his side sobbing and crying.
Cowboy grabs the cash, a shot for the road and walks to the door. Bar crowd was again dumbfounded.

Bartender stops him.
'C'mon, first you made that horse laugh, then cry and took all that cash both times, when all others failed. At least you can tell us how ya done it'

'Well', the cowboy said............'First I whispered in his ear - "My dic* is bigger than yours, yup that sure made him laugh.'
Bartender says 'How's ya make that horse cry?'
Cowboy replies 'I proved it to him'.

See any similarities with IOC here????
I'll make it simple for non SHU members.
Find the matches:
1) Who is the cowboy?
2) Who is the Horse?
3) What is the cash?
4) Who is the bartender?
5) Who's in the dumbfounded crowd?

A) Asian LNG Market
B) Phil
C) The bidding SM's
D) Wall Street
E) E/A, T-2 and the other dozen reefs.

Great analogy Tree; but there is one more element to the analogy:
6) What does the bar represent?

Sorry to interject in this analogy but wouldn't:

PHIL-----be the COWBOY in this analogy.
XOM------be the Horse.
Cramer-----be The Bartender.
Whitney Tilson and Motley Fool---be the DUMBfounded crowd.

No, Mark. Close, but there was a trick to this riddle. There were two horses actually in the story. Tilson and the Motley Fool. Actually though, Tilson and the Fool were only parts of the horses.

I think I'll stay with my summation....it doesn't require any foot notes. ;-)

Some say Ant-3 positive results further de-risk the resource for all those that say Phil can't make a horse cry.

JFT,
Would you please explain the sliding continuum of bids?
This could explain why that big horse cried, he had no choice.
