IPAA Meeting Florida Feb 13
#21
Thanks Tusk! 8:00 AM instead of 9:00 AM per the original schedule? Something they want to have out well before market opens? Or did other lead off cancel/reschedule? Many an ear will be tuned I would guess!

Checked the e-mail... 08:00 am Est for "presentation", Sorry... I did not request if that meant IPAA or IOC Web Site.

Either way, should make for a interesting morning.

Cheers

Any thoughts on whether they might have a PR in the morning on A3 and exploration before the IPAA begins?

Hopefully, the presentation update on the binding bids deadline and upcoming partner selection and sell down deal will increase interest and perhaps attract more buying, which seems like a good likelihood. It appears we may already have some buying in advance, maybe offsetting short efforts going into monthly options expiration this week. Anyone have a read on the options this week?

Getit
Per Optionpain.com Max Pain for this Friday is $62.50. Could be some scrambling between now and then

Feb is not a big option month, but the strike with the most open interest is the $70 calls.  I think $70 would be very painful for some naked call writers.  (One can hope)

Is there any reason why an initial resource estimate for 3tops could not be given in this presentation along with an update on A3? There should have been plenty of time to put an initial bracket on 3tops given the well(s) and a lot of seismic even if there would have to be a very substantial range on the limits.
