Lotsofng on Yazooooo posted this below.  Any thoughts?

"Im hearing rumors that IOC will make their announcement March 14th. Apparently the choice ws easy and has been made, in fact they had a pretty good idea who they would be going with before feb 28th, which is why they closed the bidding. Makes sense. For a long time the IB's have been going back and forth between IOC and their bidder with questions, ideas and info."

Ebster- Good day,sir ! Also interesting :  Another poster just posted the following  ; " I just bought 115 March 80 calls expiring March 15 th " (or words to that effect) . Sure does make the March 14 th date look even more interesting ,don't you think ?

Although it would be nice if this were true....

I do not find anything interesting about this post.  It is completely unsubstantiated and no references or sources give. This is typical for that message board and really adds nothing to the table. In addition, the source's ID shows a history of not being very accurate.

I would not pay this any attention at this point.

Agreed on Yazoo, but the post itself is not far fetched or unrealistic.  This final leg should happen fairly quickly (weeks) not months.  Why?  The 28th was set as a deadline for a reason, to account for the time needed by a preferred partner to complete their bid.  The company felt good enough about what the bid would look like to set a deadline.  This was completed successfully with "several" bids recieved by the deadline.  I take that to mean 3.  It could mean 4, consistent with the interest the company has alluded to, but at a minimum it's 3 bids.  That means at least one SM placed a bid.  If the 3 or 4 bids are all from the same pool the company has been talking to then we are very far along.  There weren't 12 bids from unknown parties etc.  IMO, the company knows the winner already and the question is how much deliberation the BoD has to conduct to meet the minimum fiduciary requirements before announcing the decision.  A delay beyond March would not be good and f the PPS were to slide further, IOC could see a hostile offer at a price that would disappoint many longs. I believe that the company, PNG, and their new partners want to conclude this quickly.
