I'm really surprised we are down at the moment.

Valiant effort by the shorts, but I suspect we close up 3+ today.  I feel certain they don't have the same conviction the longs have.  At a minimum they will have to start to lighten up into next week.  Any other predictions for the close today?

I don't think we have long to wait.  This is the 7th day with bids in hand.  This is accounting, not rocket science.  More than enough time for anaylsis and follow-up clarification. I would be surprised if the IB's aren't getting presentation ready for the board.

At  $80 stock price most of the shorts are under water.  The pressure will mount rapidly from there.  Covering (buying) millions of shares won't be cheap.

I doubt we will have to wait much past the 15th. However, if this drags on beyond March, all hell will break loose on the short side.

Let's get this done IOC. Let's not give the shorts any more ammo.

The big institutional investors have stayed or added through much worse, like all the political upheaval and scary newspaper articles last year.

It's something to keep in mind. The shorts have shorted ever more, but we're up nevertheless. Something is gotta give here..
