EWC's pps action gets ASX's attention

For the math challenged, that's a 33% jump in the pps in 1 week.

This activity is likely due to their partnership in LNG in Australia.  On July 16 they announced an agreement through Strike Energy.  EWC is a 1/3 licensee in PEL 96 and Orica Australia signed a binding agreement for exploration and possible offtakes, or something to that effect.

Aloha Palmolive, if that were true wouldn't they have to provide that answer to the ASX?  Or perhaps the ASX's processes are just as effective as the SEC.

PNG sources think Horizon and Talisman will use EWC to monetize their assets. If they can use EWC for LNG purposes then why can't IOC with its EWC FID ready plans be approved??Hard to argue that logic.Even 1 million tons of LNG production using an EWC type yields $500 million to IOC shareholders per year. Ten dollars in earnings to the IOC stock price. No one is talking 1 million tons but they are talking more than that.

Only thing I see is that the first line of EWC's respons states, "The Company is unaware of any information concerning it that has not been announced which, if known could be the explanation for the recent trading in the securities of the Company."

So in other words, the Strike PR was issued and they have had increased volume and pps appreciation, so as far as the Company is concerned, that is all they can attribute the activity to at this point in time.  There could be speculation on other things going on (such as PNG), but that is just that; speculation.
