How will IOC become a vertically integrated energy company as they terminate Mitsui CSP agreement and declare they will not be LNG operator?

As IOC now sets sail for Wahoo down South who will drill out PRL15 (which BTW, is the biggest discovery in Asia in the last 20 years) and T-2? They won't just be abandoned will they?

Sure do feel like XOM (or someone that outbids them) is after much more than a 4.6T SPA, or is it just me? Shared priorities?

Okay, so IOC has had a couple of hours now to explain how 'not being an LNG operator' does not equal 'we will not have an LNG stake'

and

'Focussing now on Wahoo means good things have been agreed to in PRL15 and T-2'

XOM kinda looks to be all over 2/3 of IOC.
