If Exxon were to buy InterOil...
#1

OK - blue sky here...    If Exxon were to buy InterOil outright and close the deal by 12/31/13   (big IF of course), would Exxon be able to add the Elk/Antelope resource to their SEC approved reserves ???

If so, how much does 9 TCF of gas and a bunch of condensate work out to be PERCENTAGE-wise with respect to Exxon's current reserves?

Would it be a 1% increase ?   2% increase ?         Would it be too small to matter ?

Just wondering if Exxon is "sensitive" to the fact that they are not replacing their reserves (or do I have my facts wrong on this point?).....    Hmmm.....

Given the stage we are at in our developments there should be no way bigs are ok with that...

Is it a PSA or FID that clears SEC Reserve definition hurdle? Seems to me it is FID, which would make 1/1/14 out of the question unless of course a LOT of engineering has been done while we've waited. (Had a CSP plant design, but we all know the latest chapter in that tale.)

As we sleep, dreaming of a deal, it seems NQ has been generating all the traffic here at SHU. Same old same old. Short attacks on promising companies trying to make a go of it. I think I'll start buying stuff that shorts can't burn down.
