1 XOM 3rd train at PNG LNG and 1 Gulf LNG project = 2 deals coming

Just plain logic, right?
#1) XOM cc transcript says -We are and continue to look at the potential for adding a third train. We have space to do that there. A lot of opportunities. One, of course, is the discussions that are ongoing with inner oil. I know it was in the press recently that our exclusivity period had ended, and that was correct, but we are still discussing. We still have negotiations ongoing, and we'll just have to see how that bears ou

#2) Here's what the article says:

Friday, October 25, 2013
InterOil expressed confidence in delivering the second liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in the Gulf on time,
saying negotiations with parties are almost complete.
Chief executive
Dr. Michael Hession said on Wednesday the company was working around the clock to deliver the new LNG project.
Hession had earlier met with the Prime Minister Peter O'Neill and a number of ministers to provide an update on InterOil's progress.
He stressed that the benefits from the energy company's projects had to be delivered locally.
"InterOil hopes to recruit more locals when we start the big project in the Gulf, and we are proud to be a PNG company

It might be the deal is the first 4 TCF goes to Gulf LNG and the second 4 TCF goes to either Gulf LNG or PNG LNG. If that is the case there must be strong interest in getting E/A quickly delineated for anyone that doubts PRL 15 holds at least 8, or better, 12. A tie to the new heli-rig contract? Maybe.

In any event, at this point I'd be stunned if there wasn't an absolute commitment to build Gulf LNG. Also, given the proximity of Ttops the initial design for GLNG will be for 8+ MTPA.

I would say there is very little chance that the first 4+ Tcf will not go to PNG LNG Train 3. I'm pretty sure they can get to FID and build Train 3 faster than for Gulf LNG, for which I would expect the initial phase to be about 4 mtpa, assuming a deal for a PNG LNG train, with allowance for expansion beyond that.
