And for those license-anxious people out there; as we have said, when you meet your commitments on the licenses the government works with you. IOC has always done that and note these statements on page 17:

"- Licenses in compliance and anticipate exceeding work commitment
 -Renewal underway"

That's a very good thing

Every short argument thus far essentially blown away by Hession. No Secondary. No Risk of Losing Leases. Several "Mega" Majors at the table.

"InterOil gapped open sharply higher Tuesday and is now up 8.37 at $75.41 on above average volume. The stock has leaped to a 2-month high and has re-crossed its 50 and 200-day moving averages"

Shorts don't like this

Owning a percentage of the whole project creates a cash machine. It is like McDonalds HQ that rakes in franchise fees while the franchises do almost all of the work. The 6 well drilling project is like opening more franchises once we get the goods verified and the new franchise owners identified. Rinse and repeat!
I cant wait to see the appraisal well results.

I found it interesting and potentially revealing that when asked about the size of the E/A resource Hession stated at least twice it was more than sufficient to underpin an LNG project. That, with the Kavo support, tells me at least one of the standard packages is the Gulf LNG deal. Hession's mention of Wahoo's proximity to Moresby tells me Train 3 or 4 of PNG LNG will likely have to wait to be underpinned either by discoveries in PPL 236 or resource in excess of that needed for Gulf LNG and yet to be identified on IOC's other properties.

Given the magnitude of the new drilling program we certainly might still see IOC first gas being liquified in Port Moresby.

I believe Dr. Hession also said in response to a question, in relation to the official estimates of 9.4 Tcf for E/A, that he sees more potential upside to those estimates than downside!!! Anyone care to confirm that interpretation?
