northoil again from yazoooooooooooo.
Well, when to sell - that's the problem. Here's my prediction: The current price rise will stop and settle in - maybe between 80-85, maybe higher. Until the announcement, which I believe will show a really good outcome for IOC - then there should be another rise to tthe 100-110 area, then settle in until drilling is completed. Well by well will be up and down, depending on discovery versus dry hole. Somewhere in there will be at least 1-2 more discoveries, with stock price hitting the 130-140 range, maybe higher if true and depending on how good the discoveries are. Then 2-3 years until LNG shipments from the EAs start.

So, you asked for it. I disclaim all of i

Never stated Pavel could not have a price target but until we get deal metrics its all guess work. Pavel is conservative. So true in my opinion

IMHO its nice to look at what non securities , 30 year veteran of the Oil and NG biz thinks. He is speculating using an educated guess, An opinion worth looking at. He's not gonns get sued if he sticks his neck out. Pavel has regulators to answer to. Or Pavel has a boss and North Oil has no boss with his statement.

I'm confused, JFT.  This guy is stating the deal we've been waiting three years for will move us to $100-$110.  Why are you endorsing this and/or drawing attention to it?  I thought your opinion is that we are analogous to "OSH going from $1 to $8 on their deal".  I thought you kept telling us..."don't think about a buyout for $150 (or whatever figure) because the company is worth $400"?  I guess I don't understand the point of the "cut and paste" on this one.

CAC if you go back and see the chart I posted the OSH deal was over more than 5 years. The LNG move was over years see the chart I posted.
This poster in giving you short term less than 1 year opinions. Hes a 30 year oil and NG guy.
A Boston Hedgie I speak with stated yesterday this was the best stock opportunity he had ever seen after the CC.

If IOC went to 106 on announcement of negotiations with XOM then it will surely move much higher when details of a favorable deal are elaborated.

Nothing against North Oil, but his prognostications for short-term and medium-term pps lack any basis.

Pavel Molchanov states that IOC's NAV is $100 per share at a paltry sell down equivalent of $ per mcf.

Dr Hession states that at any moment IOC will announce a "transformational deal" with a major oil/gas company.

To my mind's eye, I don't equate transformational with $1 per mcf. I reckon the deal will be equivalent to measurably higher than $2 per mcf.

If as rumored IOC will enjoy a 10%+ share of the three-train PNG LNG project, with ca$h flow to begin in 3Q2014, then IOC's NAV should approach that of OSH which is $10 Billion ===> equivalent to $200 per share.

No one knows the price per mcf or when IOC receives cash which makes everything a guess.

Westlake told us NAV for IOC was $215

Morgan Stanley told us NAV for IOC was $235

Macquarie was in the same range

How much hand holding does one need?

I suggest you state the obvious then

"North Oil's prediction for IOC's PPS going forward is south if reality"
