What is IOC's 30% LNG ownership worth?

"I think the shorts are winning in more ways than one. They have not only damaged the stock price, they have also damaged the psyche of many investors."

Now those are some of the most accurate words that anyone has spoken in a long time. Thanks for that Itinvest. I think it might be a good idea for the slings and arrows to end. Some here fail to understand that the short thesis is raised right here on this site. Now they sit with glee watching shareholders fling poo at every post, signaling gloom and doom if this or that happens or does not happen.

We can hope that Hession just doesn't deliver, but manages to create the narrative for IOC going forward that the previous regime could not do. I also hope Hession learned his last lesson and he still has a rash from it.

For the record I'm certainly wishing Dr. Hession, management and all fellow investors an expeditious and most agreeable outcome whatever your expectations or time frame may be. I do see the potential provided execution and professional PR coincide with some patience and a little luck. It is the challenge of new management to use their expertise to extract as much value as possible utilizing all the tools available. The bar has been raised in that regard. While the potential is great the challenges are many. I've set my own expectations at a level that hopefully leave me pleasantly surprised. I appreciate the exchange of information, sentiment and ideas here. Thank you.

I have not fold and still hope and feel MH will get it done. But given the company's troubled past with actions and PR IOC is under a microscope to prove there has been a change. I still feel the long term prospect is there. I just fear the short term will remain choppy. People finally agree Phil was given a pass for way too long. Those who fail to learn from history are destined to repeat it. As I have for 4 years I sit and wait.
