IOC/OSH Court Nov-Decision Q1 15
#11
Worried about the arbitration ? What happens if Interoil losses? OSH has to take over the Total deal intact and would vote to send gas to PNGLNG me thinks . With earlier monetization dates than with Total is my take . Very positive for Interoil shareholders.
That said Interoil and Total think they prevail . As Getit states that's the most likely outcome.
OSH has been messing with IOC for years. They bought their assets from others and Interoil had wildcat results . Makes Oil Search look bad. Oil Search had been jealous. That's the AGAIN Getit

Listen to those who have attended AGM's with Phil that question came up several times . Never addressed with a verbal answer but body language was different. Any offer made was not in writing thus never disclosed never met muster with the IOC Board or we would have heard .

Jft,

That does not count as anything Anyone could make that claim. I recall that as well, but body language does not count as buyout offer. Stop lying please.

Let's not call other posters liars when it's a matter of interpretation of the language.  Isn't name calling also a violation of the rules?

The "AGAIN" in the context of your comment implied some new or additional action by OSH, and I see no indication of that in the article.  In fact, the article refers to the same "legal action launched earlier in the year".  However, if you meant it differently in a longer-term context, that's fine.

Because as I have said time and time again, they want the gas for PNG/LNG and there is still a very good chance that that outcome.  To take it off the table becuase of what "the company is telling you" is absolutely naive.  Furthermore, it would be a great thing for IOC shareholders imo.

There has to be some missing details here!
Where would OSH get the 2.6+ billion to match the offer. I also don't think they can give IOC and the PNG government 37% of a LNG plant.

Exxon?  The PNG govt?  Loans?  Capital raise?  A combination of all of the above?  One thing I have learned in regard to IOC and PNG is expect the unexpected.  Therefore I am still expecting anything can happen with regard to the gas at Elk/Antelope.

The 2.6B would come from Exxon. After all, OSH is only their proxy supported by PNG government.

JFT, if I was at the AGZm and told Phil I wanted to buy IOC outright for $10,000 would constitute an offer too?  If I said personally for $500,000 would that count?  Similarly, if XOM CEO met Phil in an airport and said he would like to offer to buy IOC for  $12 billion (verbal but not on paper) does that count?  They all mean nothing unless they are backed up with a REAL offer.  Please stop the pimping, pumping and polluting and stick to facts.  This is the type of thing that sets off the board and you already know this.

What language are you talking about Getit? Now we are making conclusions based on body language? Is there a certification process involved here? Who holds greater body language communication ability?
