The best symbol for Dr. Hession

'admin' pid='49150' datel Wrote:["Fine points you make there and yes I get it. However, is 9 months since the transformational deal enough time when the stock price stays flat? Is 6 months drilling without news agreeable to you as well?"] Lib, I would have some respect for you if you made any effort to answer your own questions, instead of just putting the question here over and over again why the share price is so low. Perhaps: - It takes time to rebuild confidence - One wants more security in the form of drilling results, E/A appraisal, FID, take your pick - The sector is out of favor because the oil price has come down - LNG prices in Asia have gone down a lot In just 30 seconds I can come up with at least a couple of half plausible hypothesis, surely you could have done the same..

okay then, I see exactly where you are coming from. I suppose it is too much for me to ask for some share price appreciation after waiting 7 years. And yes, perhaps it is true that I may focus too much on pps movement given all the positives that have happened over the past few months, buyback, Bernie, Laurie Brown ( all mentioned above).

So we'll do it your way, I will earn your respect back by remaining silent about such topics in the days, weeks, months and years ahead.

Remains my avatar. No drilling results, no new buyers, no increase in pps. Meanwhile, Bernstein weighs in with a stellar review of what is happen and even their clients aren't buying it. (note the decrease in volume). So now it  remains the parroting of the company PR, Laurie Brown (aka code cracker), Dr. Hession and probably the new COB as well. LNG is a long term investment, 1-10 drilling success with a buyback of company stock at 57.17 good for a year exhausted in 30 days, one huge gas field the likes not seem in decades, interest from bankers around the world while IOC sits in their privleged postion reserved for Super Majors. OSH clock in the IPI interest is running down while OSH awaits an arbitor on EA. Shareholders wait for recertification spudding news that is coming in Q3 (that's the end of this month for those unfamiliar) on Ant 4, 5 and whatever else IOC is supposed to be drilling.

And the stock daudles under 61 a share priced at stranded gas levels. Why!?

I believe IOC's drilling success is much better than "1-10", and drilling has expanded exponentially, with plenty of cash for more.  IMO your avatar belongs to Mulacek, not Hession.

Most Bernstein clients are institutional, for whom they just had a conference call yesterday, and do not move that quickly.  The first new coverage in years, and first-class.

Impatience is understandable and shared, but with such a negatively biased view, perhaps you should just move on.

It isn't a question of respect, it's simply that putting out these questions with some regularity without even trying yourself isn't helpful in establishing an informative forum. It doesn't seem to serve much purpose besides you getting your frustration off your chest. And I don't even think it helps the latter for more than 5 min. or so..

This stock looking forward will have sizable price spikes over time. The only way to participate fully is to wait till cash flow . That exact date for cash flow is not known today .
Want to see what will happen look at Oil Search's stock price post Exxon deal ,
Look at stock symbol LNG post deal .
If you don't believe they have enough gas for an LNG plant then sell and stop posting.
If you believe they have enough gas then buy more cause the stocks dirt cheap today with an LNG plant . Be prepared to wait 6-7 years just like Oil Search investors have waited.
If this is shorter term money get out of Dodge!
Real simple solution!

Also, Lib answered his own question. Yesterday he asked after the Bernstein call what we now know that we haven't known for some time. Answer: little or nothing except we have a new employee. So why should we expect any real pps change?

Any real pps change is unlikely for quite some time. May be best for us all to enjoy the weather and some great football and check back in after the New Year.

I don't have a problem with objective, fact-based, accurate negative criticisms of the Company or related questions, but inaccurate, distorted, unreasonable, repetitive, repetitive, repetitive venting of frustrations are another matter; and I did NOT demand or say he "must" do anything.

Semantics.  Your "message" was just as I characterized it.

For the sake of clarity:
- I don't have any problem with substantiated criticism either, in fact it can often be helpful in re-examining one's investment thesis
- I didn't read Getitrt's comment as unwelcoming, merely as a suggestion that if one is so disappointed with the stock performance one could consider moving to another stock, which seems a fairly sensible suggestion.

If Getit's intention was to altruisically suggest a sensible option that he truly thought Lib didn't recognize on his own (rather than to control the "positivity-level" of the Board) then I apologize.

I can't read his mind but that's more or less how I read it (minus the altruistic part as it's simply tyring for others to read these post after a while), although I'm sure no apology is necessary
