How can anyone say the POSSIBLE PRESENCE of what was DESCRIBED as SUBSTANTIAL VOLUMES OF LIQUIDS that can be GAME CHANGING?  It would be like me saying I have the possibility to see PAMELA ANDERSON naked and that SWEET LITTLE MOLE and HEART TATTOO on her right butt cheek.

Has Phil been hired as the publicist for IOC?

From slide 16 in the presentation, the well was drilled near enough to the fault in the up thrust hanging fault block that it drilled through only the top 200 meters and out of the limestone formation, crossing the fault and drilling back into Orubadi shale in the down thrust block. From the slide it appears that the thickness of the limestone formation is much greater than 200 meters.

What we know so far is that they found lots of condensate, a very high condensate/gas ratio, in that 200 meters. A discovery was reported to PNG. Testing continues. IOC won't locate the hydrocarbon/water contact until a future well. They won't know what's in the lower part of the formation until a future well. Laurie Brown has told us we might have found GAME CHANGING liquids, leading to early monetization. It's good news!
