A re-hash
#1

Good afternoon, guys. At times, I cogitate strongly and ask myself what are we doing in the 30s ?? Yes, I know, crude and ng are way,way down. But my puzzlement increases when I think about the 900 million OSH paid for the 22+ % of prl 15. I don't believe PB is a fool , so my mind wanders again to the"going -ons" behind the scenes. Just too many "what -ifs" for this tired old brain ! I know we have a lot of very smart folks on our board, so any more"color" on our pps ? TIA for your thoughts. hagd !

The color on the fundamentals of IOC are much clearer and more vivid than the colors of the pps. But I can't help but notice that the relative strength of IOC hasn't been all that bad lately. Like today. And when big holders get margin calls they have to sell something.

Stock PPS is recovering from our margined called former execs and largest shareholder.
Read Goldman they spell out the stock catalyst quite clearly .
Minor mover-The arbitration decision . They like Exxon as winner lower costs and quicker they say .
Major mover- the size of the payment all analyst agree 2 trains and 7.1 T's . If one just looks at Dec 3rd slide 11 of IOC they would understand the seismics they all have been using and the more robust new seismics should be used . Even Bonk says Ant 4 increases the GCA estimate from 7.1 .
See the timeline and you should see when we get major news.
Shovel,some snow !,

Could you cogitate for us and tell us where pps should be today and why in your opinion?

Palm - Good day . Hope all is well with you and yours ! For fun....as Gator says !   As my "cogitation" was occuring,I thought about the newer seismics as shown for E/A on the recent presentation and that we now (should be) are nearer to the 9 tcf range. Also, in my humble opinion, with no factor in the pps at present for our latest "discoveries", my math skills (or lack thereof) put me @ a pps of 49.27 . [ That is why ," while my wonderful spouse was yelling at me, I recently bought "way too much more" @ 33.51]  Yes,as you will probably say" I do have rocks in my head". Great to hear from you !

sageo, I would say you did very well for yourself. We shall see, but so far, so good.

Getit - Glad you qualified that with "so far" !  I just got back from takin' my ("yelling) wife to PF Chang's for lunch to calm her down. No, she wasn't really yelling.....I'm exaggerating a bit. She does like their food. Have a pleasant evening.

Sounds like someone might be over-allocated in this high-risk exploration company; especially at your stage of life. Mebbee she has a point.

"Palmster"- Regretfully, (in a way, you are probably right) . I will surely try to prevail, but at times I know it will be difficult. Thanks again for all your quality input on our board.
