Exxon is the largest oil company on earth.

Hi,Gator - While I believe both of your statements are valid,I don't think that because XOM is the largest oil company on earth, that this fact would preclude them from wanting to build more trains at their PM plant. We all know about their large egoes and the desire for them to"squeeze" out a good deal in all that they do.....which eats up a lot of time. While "we" wait ,MH and all "the boys" draw nice paychecks( and the pps keeps sinking" like a turd in a punch-bowl" at a bingo party) in the meantime. Not angry or whining necessarily, just stating some cold, hard facts. I just wish at times that everyone could proceed a little quicker ! (note.....I did leave out "soon and noos"Wink ! btw, Am looking forward to your next "Fun Friday". Ha,ha.

Exxon didn't become and stay the largest by being the nice guy on the block .
Is it fair to have offered a low price per mcf without LNG participation????
That's Exxon. Today Interoil has Total which changes everything, will be interesting.

What is it exactly that you think management is doing or not doing or not doing well enough, or that they are dragging their feet on, while being overpaid, that is resulting in things with the project moving ahead much more slowly than they should?  Or is it just a matter of wishing like all of us that it could move faster, without any "cold, hard facts" to indicate that it should be moving much faster?

I understand your point, GetIt, and my honest answer to that is..."I don't know".  But even so, I believe it is fair at some point to look at the bottom line (i.e. the pps) and conclude that whatever they are doing or not doing hasn't been good enough.  The fact that I don't have acccess to all of the information (or the technical knowledge to undersatnd it even if I didl) doesn't mean I can't read the scoreboard.  It reads "IOC $44".  IOC management is not currently "winning".

I'm not saying now is the time (I think it is not), but a bottom-line, "pass-fail" grading scale (regarding pps), is okay in my book at some point. If your favorite football team goes 6-10 three years in a row, you likely have no access to what the coach did or didn't do from an "X's and O's" standpoint...and may not have the sophistication to judge it anyway...but you still want the coach fired.  I think that's fair.  6-10 is still 6-10 no matter how you defend it...and $44 is still $44.

CAC, are you posting and/or answering for sageo now? I did not ask you, and neither had nor have any interest in any response from you nor any post by you, and likely never will, although I realize you have the right to post pretty much anything you want within the rules, whether substance or useless drivel. Also, based on past comments, why you would have any interest in any post by me is beyond my understanding.

Not from Hides Deep and P'nang is very expensive to develop if they even have any gas ?????

Thats the ??? That needs an answer.

It will be interesting to see how all this pans out.

My suspicion is that OSH will eventually become the holder of Talisman's assets in the Western PNG region and these will some how be combined with P'nyang.

Will that gas go to PNGLNG or a new plant is yet to be seen.

Getit- (or not) ? First, I did not use the word"overpaid". Second,if you had just left Woodside, would you have a great urgency(when you are receiving a superb monthly income) to hurry things along? I'm not saying they ARE dragging their feet as you mentioned, I just some times wonder if more could not be down to expidite things in a more professional manner. Sorry,I didn't mean to "ruffle your feathers".....I guess I was just handling my frustration improperly.

Cac- Thanks for your support and understanding. Have a pleasant evening.
