OSH announcement of Papua LNG; a bit better
#1

Nice announcement by OSH. More clear and some more specifics including expectation that gov acceptance of the location is expected shortly. Stage now belongs to O'Neill.

Also mentions footprint to be comparable to PNG LNG and there will be synergies between the projects.

Well done PR.

Palm - Happy 4th to you and loved ones ! Thanks for the pdf......agree, well done PR . ( My 4th will not contain beer. Went to see my doc on 6-30th ,the day b/4 my 84th,and he  said I now have gout in my left wrist.....painful as the dickens.)  Maybe a glass of wine, but beer is now "verboten". [ Forgive me for getting off topic of IOC . ]  Am now looking forward to some good reports on our current wells that we are drilling . Best to you and yous.

Well I'll certainly drink the beer and wine for you this weekend Sageo. Visiting the great NW for several days and lots of good wine to be had.

Happy 4th weekend to all. Getting this initial plant announcement is worth celebrating for the next year. Lots to happen that we've all been waiting for. Let's loosen up a bit on timeline watching and see it all unfold. Appraisal/exploration drilling is most crucial now. And based on this OSH PR we know that behind the scenes these guys are working around the clock to get things right.

Cheers!

Happy 84th Sageo.... and Kudo's to OSH for the communications and the well information which I know IOC is not required to deliver yet until they get on the Austrailian exchange. Happy Fireworks and Enjoy our Freedoms this weekend.

Happy birthday Sageo, as far as the gout goes, drink plenty of liquids, take 2 woman, er no sorry, 2 aspirin and go to bed.
I think the reward of the "most gentlemanly" on this board has to go to you. I hope you have many more happy holidays with you & yours.
Well said Palmster.
Happy 4th to all and thanks all again for your helpful input to this board.

Happy B-Day Sageo! Palm, thanks for the PDFS. Would be great if IOC had as good a PR department but then again, what we lack in PR department we make up in resources!!!

Wonder how Total views news releases?? This is a big deal for them . Makes one think the French are being reserved in public discussions . Typical French attitude.

Total is NOT YET the Operator of Papua LNG.
We wait for PNG Government to approve the transfer.

In the meantime they continue to lose production from existing operations and suffer from cost increases and schedule delays in ongoing projects.

NOOS their shareholders will demand improved performance and public statements on how they will right the ship.
