FACT ... his filing says he has 532,200 shares in the form of CALLS. The September 50 CALL Options (5,604 open interest now) showed up on July 14th. SPECULATION is that most of those are the ones in his filing.

Sounds like you are suggesting he bought the calls a week before the block traded (implying he had formed a positive view of something IOC), and then bought the block?

That would make a big difference - that this now major holder didnt just buy the block based on an advantageous price but added to his existing call position with a view of something more fundamental...

To be clear, Mr. Cohen has the skills and abilities to make the Sept. 50 calls close with an extrinsic valve, if he so wants and desires.
