Oil Search @ MS conference

"Looks like OSH is sticking to its lower estimates until proven otherwise."

That is what professional management teams do. They under promise and over deliver. Exactlly what the current, much maligned, IOC management team is doing.

You can bitch and moan as much as you like about them not buying stock, but at the end of the day, they are pros who will get the most out of these assets in a long term sustainable way.

Unlike prior management, current management has a plan and is executing it.

Ignoring Hession comments about deal discussions 3 times now seems silly .

Hession’s number one plan/goal/priority was to monetize Elk Antelope. He delivered a deferred “show me” plan that disappointed Wall Street (resulting in a 40% drop in share price). He said it would be better for shareholders within 2 years when the assets were proven. He has pushed out that deadline for certification twice (resulting in yet another 40% drop in share price). Everyone has a plan till they get punched in the mouth. 27 months should have been a sufficient time to implement his plan.

We know they screwed up the drilling plan. Isn't it a bit late to start throwing rocks?

The only logical conclusion is Gator wants to buy more stock ?????. Please tell us when you are fully loaded .????
Gator yesterday posted tbe Oil Search presentation that stated certification in the second quarter of 2016 . Gator sees delay I see big bucks !!! I say bring it on per our board expert PET the numbers are at least 10 T's . That's a $2 Billion dollar payment . Bring it on and yes that is transformational payment . Would you have preferred a 7 T payment no additional dollars???
One needs to never forget Interoil is the minority partner and the timeline is out of their control .

JTF,

You keep taking about a $2 BILLION payment in 6 month like it is a forgone conclusion. Wall Street is not stupid. Delays are like cockroaches, when you see two, there are probably more. Both IOC and the IPI investors took the "over" on Elk Antelope. TOT and OSH took the "under". The ones that have to wright the checks do have the ability to control the timeline somewhat. I believe in the asset. I think shareholders will make money in spite Hession, not because of him. The self inflicted delays have come at the same time as an energy crash around the world. With the drop in energy prices, many, many projects around the world are being delayed. Cap-ex budgets ate being slashed. You can talk about being the "low cost" producer till your blue in the face, but it is still a $15 billion build-out.

I am not trying to buy more IOC. (Frankly I have purchased other energy names, most pay dividends.) I'm not stupid enough to believe anything I write or say on this board will influence the share price. I only want to see two things from InterOil. 1) Management and shareholders interests become aligned and right now they are not. Hession has been paid for doing the deal and he gets more shares given to him because of the lower price. 2) There are NO MORE DELAYS. Not one member of management or the IR team can explain why we went from Q1 to "middle of 2016". We had a 3-5 month delay in the span of 6 weeks and nothing changed.

Have you asked? None of that is accurate, but it is not worth it to me to respond any further than I already have on multiple previous occasions, along with comments management actually have made on the subject.

Previous management, under much better market conditions, never even completed a PLAN for monetization, much less financing for it and implementation.  This management completed  a monetization deal with a world class partner within months, and is well under way in implementation, in terrible market conditions, while at the same time launching appraisal of a second PRL and an extensive new seismic and drilling exploration program, with two new discoveries so far, and is working on monetization of additional resources discovered.  I'll take it, and so far actually be grateful.

Everything you said is extremely repetitious.  For how many YEARS are you going to violate the whining rules here?
