I think It's obvious that they are waiting for the OSH post A6 reserve estimate before drilling A7. Why not just say so!?!?!?!?!?

Great question Putz.
"We Will Tell The Truth" is not in the IOC Glossary of Terms. Phrases that are in the Glossary include: "Confidentiality Prevents Me From Answering" "That's Under Study" "We Intend To" "RSU's For All For Everything We Do" "Pay Me in X Years for a tcf Today" Please add to the list.

Has anyone seen in writing that the independent reserve estimate OSH has underway to pay their minority partners will be made public? I think we are all assuming it will be, but when ? The results could be ready in June , will OSH announce this right away in a PR? I am guessing avg. P50 at 8.8 T's from their certification - to get over 10T's, I think A7 will need to be drilled and come through with solid reservoir results.
Please elaborate on how you get your "guess" for P50?
The two certifiers are Netherland Sewell and Associates and Gaffney Cline and Associates. It is expected that the certification will last for 120 days (beginning on March 13). GCA's P50 was 7.1 Tcfe in (March 2014) in a quick evaluation, and before additional wells were drilled and the field was confirmed to be in full communication from end-to-end NSA has been studying Elk and Antelope since ~2008. To my knowledge, they have always said that E/A could easily have over 15 Tcfe in-place. I stick with my 11+ Tcfe, which results in OSH paying YUUUUGE BUCK$ to Carlo Civelli and his group. It will also trigger a gas sale to PNG LNG for their 3rd Train.

[It will also trigger a gas sale to PNG LNG for their 3rd Train."] That would really be good news..

Hopefully they will consider their cert. # and payment amt. to be "material." Maybe announce one or both early July?

If OSH pay$ more to Civelli, they must somehow find the money and of course show the payment in their quarterly financial statement. So eventually it becomes public.

GCA 7.1 March 2014. GLJ had 10.2 T for P50 at end of 2015. The new drilling / interpretation has not really moved the GLJ numbers much in the past 4 years - their initial modelling seems to have been spot on. My gut feeling is telling me that NSA and GCA will be ultra conservative in their results, there are many billions of dollars riding on the numbers.

OSH is far more forthcoming with information than IOC and we know they have reported info that IOC should have but hasn't. It would be a real surprise if they don't announce the results.

Being a pumper, cheerleader and Hession/BoD apologist I must point out that the ASX and NYSE have differing reporting requirements for Co's traded in their exchanges.
OSH is require to monthly report all production and exploration activities and costs even if there were none. I always thought Botten just valued better shareholder service and care. |
