At today's closing OSH price and exchange rate, OSH original bid is worth $44.25 per IOC share. If they rebid today, they can be back on top for peanuts.

Don't shoot the messenger. XOM's fixed $45 is better than floating with the AUX and exchange rates, but I wouldn't put it past them to "match" XOM with a basically unchanged bid.
