The Antelope 7 appraisal well was spudded on 2 November. At the end of the month, the well was at a depth of 1,302 metres and is currently running 13-3/8” casing before drilling ahead in a 12-¼” hole to test for the presence of a carbonate reservoir in the western flank of the field.

Just for reference, here's the October drilling report:

"During the month, mobilisation and rigging-up of Rig HA 115 at the Antelope 7 appraisal well site was completed and the well spudded on 2 November. The plan is to drill through the Orubadi Shale formation to test for presence of the primary Antelope reservoir, at a planned total depth of approximately 2,300 metres. Drilling to this depth is expected to take approximately 60 days."

Take a look at Slide #16 in the Attached OSH Presentation from early November.

I think Ant S and Ant Deep are 2 different animals. On that slide they show the difference and mention that Ant S would be drilled with a separate well.

Yes you are 100% correct Palm.

I tried to give JFT the benefit of the doubt - - - that he was referring to two separate wells:

1. "Drill ahead" - - referring to Antelope Deep
2. "Later into possibly Antelope S" - - referring to Antelope South that would require a new well far away from A-7

Right now drilling deeper at Ant 7 to reach possibely Ant Deep could be quite beneficial . What will Exxon do with that December 14th date .??No results by then ???One well doesn't tell you much though . Today we are getting zero value for these potential finds .
