I have recieved info from the IOC Singapore office that the management have already left the building, and abandoned the remaining 20 staff to their own devices.

Like a lot of postings and commentary on this board, not thought through.

All the employees of Interoil are now Exxon employees.   Many or most, perhaps not for long, but they will be taken care of.  Some of the technical staff may be kept on, which would exceed their wildest dreams.  They have, of course, not just been sitting there the past 6 months.  They didn't just wake up today and say "Gosh, Exxon took us over!   What are we going to do?"  I'd imagine employees would have had some questions about their future long before this.  You have to make some assumptions, like, maybe there's been some discussions with the employees about their jobs, benefits, etc.   I'd also think that as Hession was walking out, an Exxon guy was walking in.  I was that guy once, and we took care of the people of the former company better than they could have hoped.
