CRP Update from Computershare
#1

All, I got this by request from Computershare today.  Short story - not much new info; just more delay.  This attached report is identical in all respects to the first one I posted on this site with the exception of this statement (below) inserted below the 3rd bullet in the note.  I suppose the next notice from them will be our answer, whenever it comes.  My expectation is I don't expect anything final until Q4 which begins in 39 days.

− Certification work is proceeding with the two selected consultants per the procedure set out in the Total Sale Agreement

Best regards,

Kaliboo

In the 2Q XOM conference call in late July, Pavel from RJ asked a question about the CRP. They gave a brief update. Not much new. They just said the process is progressing and the plan is to have the certification completed in the third quarter and shared as spelled out in the arrangement. The XOM VP said they are "hopeful that will come to closure soon." He must not realize how sensitive some of us are about the word, "soon." It is around the 1:24 mark of the call.

Thanks, Kaliboo. Was hoping for more info from Computershare, but I should have learned my lesson by now.

The curse of InterOil lives on. Who would have thought that little ole InterOil could delay XOM and hurt their share price at the same time.

Kaliboo - Good am to you .Thanks for the info about Q4 being "next up". Sorry that my old brain can't remember , but was there anything said earlier concerning a date as to when the crp had to be finalized ? If so,I just don't recall . Appreciate your help .....(or anyone else's help who knows for sure .)

Hey there, Sadge! If I recall correctly (and I think I do :-), there is not that kind of hard deadline related to the CRP. The CRP must be paid within 10 days of completion/publishing of the new resource estimate done by the 2 resource evaluating companies chosen from the list of 5 on the old SPA.

So the only hard deadline begins after the evaluators issue that report.  When will that be???  It seems there is only one more "soooooon" left.  (Except for the dissenters, that is!  But then again, "soon" does not come into that conversation, at this point.)

All the best to you and yours, dear Sageo

Sageo in the attachment of the earlier email it seems as if there are about 2 or 3 trigger events after the appraisals are done.  After each deliverable is received there is a specified time e.g. 10 days for the next step to happen.  These are series events.  Hence my expectation of a check if any, arriving in Q4.  I don't watch the clock on this thing anymore.  A suggestion for XOM is to give us the option of the CRP or the Limited Edition InterOil Christmas Ornament Collection, featuring Rudolph the Pink Nose Elk/Antelope.  Happy Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years to all.  There.  Now I'm caught up with Walmart.  Best regards, Kaliboo

Oh yeah.  I forgot Mardi Gras
