Thanks, Palm, for a good weekend laugh.  The wiki on Yakutia makes PNG seem drama-free in comparison.. Wonder if Phil will seek Tillerson's help in making a deal with Putin.

Wonder how long before Phil goes after Hession and the band of crooks in court now?

Lady - Good afternoon to you . Just wondering how our crp dollars will be listed on our td ameritrade 1099's . To me, it was an additional payment for our shares . Could some brokerage firms mistakenly report this as a dividend.? Thanks for your help .

Schwab hasn't a clue, either.  See thread on Schwab and CRP which I started.  At this point, after more input from me to presumably its tax department via a client service person,  Schwab continues to carry the CRP cash under "Diviidends and Interest" payments.  They say that they are not sure how the payment will be treated on the 1099.

Schwab apparently has applied my entire IOC cost basis to the exchange for XOM shares which would leave a zero basis for the CRP.  Fidelity did the same thing but Fidelity is recognizing the CRP as an asset sale.
