Hopeful Thread
An important update on the feasibility of seabed mining by November 2024 - is Gerard Barron possibly referring to the 180 tons of ore that Nautilus recently produced at the Solwara 1 site that nobody is talking about? And Nautilus did it with the same company NCT Offshore and their ship Coco that TMC used in 2023. Even though the founders of TMC started Nautilus in the late 1990's these are two separate companies (supposedly).

Yep, totally random. Nothing to see here.

"We will take one more question for Cantor Fitzgerald from analyst, Matt O’Keefe. What are we expecting in terms of our feasibility update? And can we expect something this year or perhaps in advance of our application to the ISA? Yes. So, on that point too, it’s important to note that the feasibility work, the PFS and FS, is a key tenet of that application. We feel very good about the coordination on that point. And while we don’t want to give you a timeline, what you can expect is when we next report in November, we are going to have quite a bit more to say on that front, and sort of when the public release can be there. That’s very important for us as well. We think it’s important for a lot of our potential partners. So, we are laser focused on it. And I would just say, stay tuned because that is certainly in the works."

LongNautilus, as the article states, "Deep Sea Mining Finance snapped up the leases when the original proponent Nautilus Minerals went bankrupt and its assets were liquidated in 2019." What do we have as assets moving forward?

The working theory I think is someone is buying the ADR shares and they will go public with it and the shares will start actually trading and be worth something again.

I suppose you're right. I guess we knew all the assets were bought over 5 years ago when the company went bankrupt. Then noticed the stock was still trading and continues to trade to this day despite being a corporate shell. And then we noticed other entities like the PNG government continued to have a vested interest in the company that was initiated with shares of the company. And then when you consider the fact that DSMF is a joint venture that is an unlikely corporate structure to go public or to start a large scale operation with multiple investors and is poorly named for anything other then a funding vehicle it made us think maybe this is part of their larger plan to go public with the original corporate structure with all their vested partners gaining value from the listing. Or maybe not.

Anyone buying TMC stock? Seems reasonably priced for what could happen in the future
