Wouldn't it make sense for Jap/SK to form a bidding consortium to tie up as much of Asia's premier on-shore gas fields as they can?

Today's evidence:
1) Kobama needs cheaper LNG
2) Chobama needs much more LNG (Indiobama as well)
3) Jobama needs more LNG and will burn it before Oil or Nuke.

Today's conclusion:
1) LNG prices just have to go higher.
2) IOC's management doesn't have much time to screw this up.
3) Hopefully Asian demand will necessitate monetization of IOC's finds and overcome management's ineptness.
